Sending an invoice, memo or receipt on WhatsApp

Send any document as a link on WhatsApp: the party opens it and downloads the PDF, with no sign-in, for 30 days.

How to

  1. Open the document — a sale, memo, receipt, repair or any other — and press WhatsApp, beside Email.
  2. To is filled in from the party: WhatsApp 1, then WhatsApp 2, then Mobile, with the country code (91 for a 10-digit Indian number). Change it if you like, or leave it empty to choose the contact in WhatsApp.
  3. Check the Message — the document, its number, date and amount. A link to it is added underneath.
  4. Press Open WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens (on a computer, WhatsApp Web or the app) with the chat and the message ready — press Send there.
  5. The party taps the link: a page with your name and logo, the document’s number, date and amount, and View / download PDF.

Good to know

  • Each link works for 30 days. Under Links sent for this document you see when each was opened, and Stop ends one at once. Deleting the document ends its links.
  • The PDF is the same as Print / PDF, in your default template — nothing more of your company can be reached from the link.
  • Whoever may email documents may send them on WhatsApp (Send documents to customers in the role).
  • Avirat never sends anything by itself: WhatsApp opens on your own phone or computer, and you press Send.
